The Southern Education Desk (SED) was created in 2011 through a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. That grant has ended, signaling the end of the SED.
Please note that the SED was comprised of a consortium of public media stations in five Southern states and that those stations will continue to vigorously cover education. Visit those station websites for ongoing coverage of education issues in the South.
